Firewalked down to a shady part of the camp, below a flat, rough gray rock. It was one of his favorite spots in the camp… mostly for s nice nap, no wind blowing over his pelt freezing him, no blinding sun to upset his eyes, no sight of omious, dark, depresing clouds. Just the still, calm air of under th rock, just him in a dark, cool- almost a den. He laid down, curled up and drifted off into a dream world of fasination! Wonder! No despair!

 Raven-----------------------------A shy she-cat who has
issues with her past.Slowly she walked back into camp with a small bird clamped firmly in her jaws. She had done one of the things most prey hunters don't do; hunt alone. After scanning the camp clearing to see what was happening she laid her catch on the fresh-kill pile so someone else could eat. Then she padded toward a quite part of camp and laid down. Lightly she rested her head on her paws. Camp was so boring and some of her tribe mates still thought of her as that act who wandered into their territory, later to be trained in their way. Some cats still believe she is a spy from the Tribe of Rushing Waters but she's not. Lazily she let her tail tip twitch and she rolled her eyes. Why would anyone think I was a spy? I'm to quite and an outcast to be a spy. But what ever they have their reasons to think that as I would have my reason to think what I think of them. Tomorrow I think I'm going out for a longer hunting trip so I don't have to sit camp for so long. Maybe I should make a friend.Her thoughts bounced around her head like acorns falling out of a tree. She sighed a gentle sigh before sitting up so she could clean her black pelt of any clinging foliage or dirt. Smoothly she swiped her tounge over a paw and then in one smooth motion she drew her paw over her ear. After a few swips of her paws she moved on the cleaning dirt from inbetween her toes. She moved alone through the rest of her fur to make sure she was clean (well as clean as a cat can be) from head to toe. Casually she looked towards Fire settling down to take a nap. Gently she chuckled when the tom settled beaneath his usual sleeping spot. At least someone is comfortable enough to sleep around all day. I'm sure his job is quite boring during slow days like this. |

Storm trotted through the camp entrance with a conceded expression on his face. His muscles rippled under his pelt with each wide step as he padded towards the mysteriouse black she-cat that the tribe called Raven. He had never spoken to this prey-hunter before but he could give it a try. In a casual manner he dipped in head at the lovely black she-cat. "Hello Raven."he cheerfully meowed. "How are you today?"

issues with her past. In a mixture of fear and being surprised the black pelted she-cat jumped. Her whiskers quivered as she quickly lapped at her pelt to force down any patches of fur that remained bristled. "Er hello Storm."she meowed softly keeping her blue eyes focused on her paws. Why must he decided to come talk to me? There are plenty of she-cats in the tribe that he could flirt with.Her thoughts where probably the only thing that kept her in the right of mind through out the boring days. "I"m fine, thanks for asking." She paused casually as she decided whether or not she wanted to ask the question back. Finally deciding she would be nice, "How are you?" |

Storm carefully sat down with his tail over his paws. He chuckled softly when the prey-hunter jumped in surprise. "Sorry for scaring you."he staited gently. "I'm fine. I was wondering since you look so bored. Would you like to go hunting with me?" His head tilted slightly as his amber eyes showed with curiosity.

issues with her past. "Would you like to go hunting with me?"The toms question echoed in her ears and desperatly she wanted to say now but she also didn't want to seem concided or stuck up. She took in a deep breath as she glanced towards Flame who still appeared to be sleeping. Then ever so gently she replied, "Yes, hunting seems like a wonderful idea." Slowly she pushed herself to her paws, streached out her long legs and waited for Storm to lead the way out of the camp. Her blue eyes some what bright but the thought of hunting with this tom wasn't her exact choice of fun. |

Fire jolted up awake as he heard voices from his camp. He lazily got up onto his paws and stumbled over to Raven and Storm. "Hi there!" He mewed mumbled to the cats. His paws ached after such a sudden start, after such a nice nap. "I see your going hunting, mind if I come? I need to get my supply of plants in shape." He told the two cats.

issues with her past. A sense of relife filled the prey-hunter's chest when Fire offered to go out with them. Without waiting for Storm's concensious she answered, "We would love it for you to come." she meowed gently towards the tribes healer. Then slowly she casted a glance that cleary stated her silent message of don't you dare say no. Then without waiting for Storm to say a single thing she picked her way towards the camp entrance with more of a bounce in her step. |

Storm flicked his tail with a roll of his pale amber eyes. "Sure you can come along."he meowed in a flat tone as he turned to follow Raven out of camp. I really wanted to go out and get to know her by myself. But no she just has to bring Fire along doesn't she. His thoughts stung him like a swarm of bees but he didn't flinch. Lightly he side as he passed the she-cat and head down to the tribes territories.

Fish had been sleeping in the shady part of the camp (or just somewhere). She opened one of her green eyes and yawned. Standing up and stretchin herback in a long cat stretch "whats going on?" mewed the cave guard walking up to the group of cats

Fire padded out into the warm, bright forest and settled down for a second to turn back to the other cats. "Nice day, isn't it?" He meowed. His eyes settled on the sky, the clear, bright blue sky. It gave life, as did the trees that lean towering over him, and the soil beneath his feet, the plants that grow for medicine. The prey, and plants was the main goal now.
